In cold zone areas, there is heating in winter, and the indoor temperature can generally meet the requirements, but special attention must be paid to the transportation process and anti-freezing work before heating.


In humid temperate areas where there is no heating in winter, special attention should be paid to changes in indoor storage temperature and antifreeze work should be done. It is best to add some heating equipment such as electric heaters.


2. White latex

When the temperature drops below 0°C, insulation measures must be taken on the transport vehicles when transporting white latex. Straw mats or warm quilts can be spread around the cabin and on the floor to ensure that the temperature inside the cabin is above 0°C. Or use a dedicated heated vehicle for transportation. The heated vehicle has a heating function. The heater can be turned on to heat the compartment during transportation to ensure that the white latex is not frozen during transportation.


The indoor temperature of the warehouse should also be kept above 5°C to avoid ventilation and temperature loss.


3. Imitation stone paint


When the outdoor temperature is too low, imitation stone paint should be stored indoors to ensure that the indoor temperature is above 0°C. When the temperature is below 0°C, heating or electric heating must be used to raise the indoor temperature. Products that have been frozen cannot be used again.

What precautions should be taken when constructing architectural coatings during the cold winter?

During construction, the wall temperature shall not be lower than 5°C, the ambient temperature shall not be lower than 8°C, and the air humidity shall not be higher than 85%.


·Avoid construction in windy weather. Because winter is relatively dry, windy weather can easily cause cracks on the surface of the paint film.


·Generally, the maintenance time of latex paint is 7 days (25℃), and it should be extended appropriately when the temperature is low and the humidity is high. Therefore, it is not recommended to carry out construction if the ambient temperature is lower than 8℃ or the humidity is higher than 85% for several consecutive days.


2. White latex


·It is not suitable for construction when the air humidity is greater than 90% and the temperature is below 5℃.


·If you find that the white latex is frozen during use, do not stir it, slowly heat it to defrost it in an environment of 20 to 35°C, and stir it evenly after thawing. If it is in good condition, you can use it normally. Do not thaw white latex repeatedly, otherwise it will reduce the bonding strength of the glue.


3. Imitation stone paint


Construction is not suitable when the temperature is lower than 5℃ and the wind force is greater than Level 4. Rain and snow should be avoided within 24 hours of spraying the main coating. During construction, the base layer is required to be smooth, solid, and free of cracks.

·During construction, appropriate protective measures should be taken according to the construction conditions of the construction site to avoid freezing of the coating film to ensure construction quality.
